AMG 822
A. Sir Gibbs – People Grudgeful
Thanks to Strickly Vibes for label scan.
AMG%20822A.mp3
Written in response to Lee Perry’s ‘People Funny Boy’, It uses a similar rhythm to ‘Long Shot’ and ‘Jackpot’ and has Joe gibbs himself singing. ‘People Grudgeful’ was available on Joe Gibbs Mood (The Amalgamated Label 1968-1971 which has been deleted.

A. Cool Sticky – Train To Soulsville
Thanks to Johnny Spencer for label scan.
Came out as the flip to The pioneers ‘Tickle me’ on it’s Jamaican release. ‘Train To Soulsville’ is available on the Heartbeat CD Explosive Rock Steady – Joe Gibbs’ Amalgamated Label 1967-1973.
B. Eric Monty Morris – Cinderella
A nice piece of rocksteady featuring some lyrics from the Jamaican folk song ‘Black Girl In The Ring’. ‘Cinderella’ on Amalgamated is not to be confused with the Beverley’s release of the same name which is a ska number and not the same tune. Once again ‘Cinderella’ was available on the Trojan CD Get On Up! – Joe Gibbs Rocksteady [1967-68].
AMG 826

Another track by the Pioneers. This one is available on the Trojan Country Reggae Box Set.
