Two nice rocksteady sides from the Gaylads (Harris “B.B.” Seaton, Winston Delano Stewart and Maurice Roberts) . This single is one of a number they recorded for Coxsone in the late sixties. While at Studio 1 they also released their debut album Soul Beat which ‘Love Me With All Your Heart’ can be found on. Soul Beat has at some point be reissued on LP and CD (although I’m not sure if it is still available) and ‘Love Me With All Your Heart’ is available on a Studio 1 repress with ‘Africa’ as the flip. As far as I know ‘I Don’t Care’ is not available anywhere other than the original Jamaican 45 I don’t think there was even a UK release unless Studio 1 SO 2017 The Clarendonians ‘Love Me With All Your Heart’ / ‘Love Don’t Mean Much To Me’ is miss-credited and (which it could well be).

The Gaylads re-recorded a reggae version of ‘Love Me With All Your Heart’ in 1974 and Johnny Clake has also covered it.
